RECENT EXHIBITION

Crossings considers the physical and psychological journeys we take in life.

For most Galiano residents, the concept of crossings may suggest ferry sailings from one shore to another. I paint island landscapes and ferry scenes that suggest travel spanning states of being. Through the act of painting, I explore that transitional space between locations where we might find time to consider the deeper messages that can be discovered in the land, sea, and sky.

After a life of constant motion, residing in many places and homes, I feel grateful to now live on this island which affords me a slower pace and where most days you will find me painting or building my art studio on the cliff above Montague Harbour.
